Leash adapters can be used by dog trainers, walkers, pet sitters and owners during their everyday activities with dogs. Made to be connected to a training or prong collar by one clip and the dog’s backup collar by the second clip, the leash is then connected to the adapter at the “O” ring. Should one of the collars fail for any reason the second collar is already attached so the dog remains under the handler’s control. Lady and Charlotte show how the adapter is attached perfectly in their photos. Two sizes of the leash adapter are available. The short side of the smaller one measures 5.25 inches and the longer side measures 7 inches, both measured from the tip of the swivel snap to the ring. The larger size measures 6.5 inches on the short side and the longer side measures 10.5 inches, both including the length of the swivel snaps.
